Bloomsbury has a rich and varied history, a heart for justice, and a passion for speaking prophetically and politically to the city. We challenge culture both within the secular world and the wider church.
We are a Baptist church in the heart of London's West End, and we seek to live out the example of Jesus Christ for the good of our city and the wider world.
We practice the presence of God, we believe that God is love, and we believe that God’s people are called to live in love.
‘Bloomsbury’ has been a centre for the worship of God and service to people in the heart of London since 1848.
Bloomsbury's mission is fulfilled in collaboration with a wide variety of partners, from the local to the national.
Our location on Shaftesbury Avenue puts us in the heart of Theatreland, and The Arts are an important part of our life together. Our Sanctuary is a beautiful performance space.
