Bloomsbury is a part of the world-wide Baptist family as a member church of the London Baptist Association whose offices are in the church building, a member church of the Baptist Union of Great Britain and an associate member church of the Baptist World Alliance. Members and friends support the work of Baptist World Mission through the birthday scheme and keep in touch with their work through the BMS World Mission live feed.
We are working in partnership with Ekklesia,a think tank and news service bringing theology and Christian news into politics and public life.
Ecumenically, our ministers are active in the Soho Minister’s Group, and the church is a keen supporter of the work of Churches Together in Westminster. We also play an active part in the Camden Faith Communities Partnership which draws together Faith leaders across Camden.
Informal discussions between ministers and members of St Anselm and St Cecilia RC Church (Kingsway), St George’s Parish Church (Bloomsbury) and Bloomsbury have begun to explore ways of in which we might learn and fellowship together from time-to-time.
The church supports the work of Christian Aid and is a registered Fairtrade church. Annually we host the Amnesty International Act of Witness organised by the Mayfair Soho Amnesty Group.
Locally, Bloomsbury sends representatives to British Museum community events, West Central Forum meetings, Central Saint Giles and Crossrail liaison meetings and the Camden Emergency Planning Group.
